Big data and IT infrastructure firm one of a select group of winners to receive contracts in the fifth iteration of the NASA contract vehicle
PALO ALTO, Calif. – Big data software and infrastructure solutions provider Sysorex (NASDAQ: SYRX) today announced it been awarded a contract in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) fifth Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) contract vehicle. Sysorex received the contract award as part of the small business group otherwise known as “Group C”. The new vehicle has a maximum value of $20 billion with a base period of 5 years and one 5 year option period.

The SEWP V contract is Sysorex’s second federal government win in the past month. In March the company was awarded a subcontract on the $249 million Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract in support of the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS).

This procurement activity is the fifth iteration of SEWP, and is a follow-on to the SEWP IV contracts.
